In the literal heart of Leiden, this brasserie really interested us. I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we took two starters, bread with a fluffy butter and salt, 2 steaks with fries, water and 2 glasses of wine. All costed €88, in my opinion was a good price for all the things we got. And everything had an amazing taste. They had a simple menu and dishes, which in these times I really appreciate.
What to know
- Make a reservation We booked on a wednesday for 6:30pm and it was packed with big tables. I think a reservation need to be made.
- Wednesday and Sunday dinner deal Apparently on Wednesday and Sunday after 5pm, there is a meal deal. One entire chicken for two people with fries and salad, at €17.95pp! We will definitely try it soon!
It is the kind of place where you want to go back to. I can’t wait for the next time!
